🏁 Tampa - The Motor Enclave

On the last day of filming this week's episode we decided to blow off a little steam. Mother Nature gave us a perfect day to do some racing . . . The Motor Enclave is the premier developer of experiential motorsports venues in North America. Their 200-acre development in Tampa, Florida includes a 1.72 mile Hermann Tilke designed Driving Circuit, a 2-acre Vehicle Dynamics Pad, a 100-acre Off-Road experience with miles of purpose built trails, and much, much more!! We didn't have time for everything, but we had enough time for a LOT of fun.

Upon arrival, they sit you down with a driving instructor who walks you through the course, safety, and what to expect. Next, you hit the simulators. This gets you one step closer to actually sitting behind the wheel of the real car. Finally, you get to meet your car! I had the Mustang, Kevin was in the Cadillac (both sweeeeeet rides), and Dario (instructor) had the safety/pace car. We took to the track and did our best to keep up with Dario as he took the corners, turns, and straightaways. At one point, we were all over 100 mph!

Next, the time trials. You're racing against the clock on a closed course. It was a close race against time, but there was clearly a winner. Ha!

Finally, our instructor piled us into the same car with him for the "Adrenaline Experience." He drives, you hold on!! It was a scream. All of this on tomorrow's episode on Discovery - 8:30 a.m. ET/PT.
